And we may have been adopted, although the verdicts still out. At the neighbor's last night, this SKINNY black kitty was meowing outside their window. It was accidentally let inside and hub scooped it up to give it some food here in our house. VERY, VERY skinny but loveable....although it's still making its mind up about our dogs and Major. We put it outside last night with the other creatures, but it made its way back later this morning and curled up with the hub on the futon for a good while. So we'll see how it goes. Four creatures is a lot for us!! We'll give it a few more days....at least for now it knows where it can get some food, as we're pretty sure that the couple that moved out down the way about 3 weeks ago must have left it behind....

I will never never understand how people can just leave an animal behind, how they can't fathom what it must feel like to go home and not be able to get in, to be hungry and not have food. I will never never never understand it.
I can think of worse things to be "adopted" by ;0)
Cat ownership is grand. I'm slightly "the more the merrier type". But not yet a crazy cat lady ;0)
