Busy, Busy Love Bee

Ten minutes to post---and I usually spend at least 45 fine tuning what I want to say so apologies to keep it short and sweet. Tonight the homestead gets plus one and on Saturday, we'll be up to a full house. Woo---changes!

Monday was a whirlwind of activity but just about everything on that to-do list got accomplished. Recycled the old lap top, old batteries, plastic bags, CDs, an old cell phone, random cords. Filled the car with gas. Dropped off the bag to Goodwill. Sold books to Powell's and donated the rest. Graded last week's assignments and half of this weeks. Made the return to Freddies and returned all the bottles. Met the coolest guy at the bottle return who was a real gem and incredibly nice. Bought groceries, including sweet little somethings for hub:
Can I win an awesome wife award for buying him Cinnabons and our Louisiana beer?! :)

The dogs and I reminded ourselves how much we love the Sorento over the Civic and we bought the straw for the chickens:
And I was reminded of why farmers aren't fat--hauling that straw took all my muscles! But the chickens seem much happier.

Add in a 4.2 mile run and vacuuming the entire house, including the nasty furry baseboards. The shower got scrubbed and the final touches of picking up the house occurred. An hour spent chatting with hub and then lessons got prepped and emails responded........and then the day was done!

Tuesday and today are just as full---but it's been our final days of alone time in the house. Here's hoping these changes will be good :)
