Dad and I took a quick trip up the coast today to check on any potential damage from last week's storm at the beach house. Luckily there was none, especially as the day was cold (not even 40 degrees) and would have been miserable to work in. Winterized and shut the house for winter.
Took these pictures from the cape and then while Dad was driving on the way back down the coast. Such a beautiful scene-makes me wonder how some people don't believe that there is something greater than us humans and why others don't want to protect the beauty through which God can communicate!
Not much was done but the day was full all the same and worthwhile due to the beauty observed and the time together!

First time here, found you through Chile. I love your photos. Although I live in Idaho, OR has always been a large part of my life. The latest OR excitement is my husband's trip to Salem to learn more about the native plants of OR. He works for a conservation company that is expanding to OR...YAH! Anyways, You hit some good nerves with these pictures. I'll be back.
Cheers, Myshell

Aunt taught elementary school at an American military base for a few years, but retired soon after to have a child and rear him. Her husband taught high school History at the base as a civilian until retirement --- then they moved back home. Aunt also taught in Japan for a few years before she married. They have had many wonderful experiences and great stories!
